Betty Bair Shaw

In loving memory of our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Betty Bair Shaw (born November 26, 1947), who left us unexpectedly on Monday, June 20, 2016.

Betty grew up in Richmond, UT to loving parents, Earl LaMont and Violet (n. Bateman) Bair. Later in life, Betty was reunited with her birth parents, Newell R. Yeaman and Merle (n. Green)  Candilora, all of whom preceded her in death.

Betty married the love of her life, Obie Bill Shaw, on May 17, 1982. Together they had five children: Obie Eugene Shaw, Sheila (Luis) Torres, Johnnett (Sean) Robinson, LaMont (Marla) Bailey, Carrie (Kyle) Williamson; seventeen grandchildren, and six great- grandchildren. Also left behind are her three beloved puppies: Shaunee, Skooter, and Chloe.

Betty was a joyful, kind, and generous soul. She loved life and family gatherings.

 Per her wishes, family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of her life on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Eagles Campground, 10505 Hwy 39, Huntsville, UT, from 3 to 6 pm (potluck). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those wishing to do so, donate to a charity of their choice in memory of Betty.
