Aaron John Bruce

Aaron John Bruce passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, in Layton, UT. Born September 28, 1956, in Rock Springs, WY. Husband of Mele (Ti) Bruce. Father of Erick (Mahalo) Lui. Dear grandfather of 3, Milo (Houston Ricks) Lui, Maika (Bruce) Lui and Kiyone (Mele) Lui. Son of Cherril and William Bruce.

John grew up in the humble town of Manila, UT with his siblings George, Barbara, Maureen and Gary. John was a big lover of music especially The Beatles, The Moody Blues, The Beach Boys, Electric Light Orchestra and Cat Stevens. He would say he was the next John Lennon, but many would say don’t quit your day job. He loved anything Boston sports with the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. Fell in love with a woman from the small island of Tonga and was an amazing husband and father. He loved his beloved grandchildren more than anything.

The family will hold private services.
