Ada Patricia Cave (Patt) passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024, of causes incident to age. She fought valiantly to stay but it was time for her to be reunited with her husband Phill; son, Phillip; and daughter, Charmaine. What a wonderful reunion that must have been. She has missed them terribly.
Patt was born April 21, 1943, in Caliente Nevada to Eldon and Maza Carson. She married Phillip Cave Jr. on June 30, 1961, in American Fork, Utah. He preceded her in death May 4, 2011. Together they had two children, Phillip Cave, (deceased Oct. 15, 2001) and Charmaine Cave, (deceased Sept. 28, 2016). She has one granddaughter, Shelbi, in Idaho, and a bonus granddaughter, Brittney Saxe, whom she loved very much.
Patt owned and operated the Magic Mirror Beauty Salon. It was a special gathering place for all her friends. She was the absolute best hairdresser in town. She satisfied a lot of marriages through her skill of making women beautiful.
Patt belonged to one of the largest spiritual organizations in the US, building comradery and hope for its members. She was an example of love and acceptance to everyone. She overcame many trials and challenges in her life by living their motto.
Patt belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was grateful for her neighborhood family and friends who were always there to check on her.
Patt loved travel, especially to Las Vegas and Mexico. She made many memories with her family, which strengthened the bond between them.
A special thanks to Amber and Bryan Gutierrez, Patt's caregivers and best friends. Patt was able to stay in her home because of the sacrifices they made for her wellbeing. She loved them very much. We will be forever grateful for the love and support that they have shown her for the past several years. She had a very good life because of them.
A big thank you to Inspiration Hospice Care for their tender care and compassion.
