Adella Westbroek Pebley

Adella Westbroek Pebley, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, September 5th 2012 at the home of her son and daughter in law, surrounded by her loving family. Adella was born in Ogden, Utah the 5th child of Herman John and Dina Westbroek on May 29th, 1918. She married Kenneth Stanford Pebley on October 5th 1936. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. Her life was spent in service to her family. She worked at the Dee and Mckay Dee Hospitals as a ward clerk for many years. She was an active member of the LDS church serving in several callings. She served with her husband as a temple worker in the Ogden Temple. They later served a mission for the church in the Washington D.C. North Mission . Adella was a long time member of the Wilson 2nd Ward and had been a member of the Wilson 1st Ward for the past year. Adella is survived by her children: Larry Pebley, West Haven; Rhea (Mike) Malone, Roy; Connie (Rick) Connell, North Ogden; Bonnie (Dave) Maynard, Morgan; Marv (Sue) Pebley, West Haven; Kent Pebley, Hooper and Chris (Jim) Stewart, West Haven. Also 44 grandchildren, 111 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sweetheart Ken, daughter Dolly, son Randy, her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 great-grandson. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 11:00 am with a viewing at 9:45 am prior to the services at the same location. Interment at the Ogden City Cemetery.
