Alana Barnard Wilson, 70 years old of Perry, Utah passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025 at Ogden Regional Hospital.
Born April 24, 1954 in Brigham City Utah to Paul and Alta Barnard. She was raised in Perry and went to Box Elder High School. Alana married Norman Strange and they later divorced. They spent time living in Germany and Colorado and then she lived the remainder of her life in Perry.
Alana was known for loving animals, especially horses. She spent time as a 4-H leader mentoring children on riding and showing horses and played a leading role in the fundraising efforts to build Perry’s horse arena. She enjoyed fishing, taking her grandchildren yard-selling, buying and selling antiques,making crafts and jewelry, and was an excellent artist, known for her little character of a boney horse that she doodled on everything.
Alana was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spoiling her grandchildren. She was funny, very generous and giving, and was always there when you needed someone to talk to whether it was day or night.
She is survived by her children, Jason (Lindsay) Strange, Andrea (Domenic) Fresques, and Krysta (Ar Seamons) Strange. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Braeden (Bailey) Strange and Chloe Seamons, her great grandchildren, Aston, Ember, Aurora, and Isabella, and her siblings, Rita (Edward) Johnson, Eileen Barnard, Harlan Barnard, Wendy (Thomas) Ouellette and Jay (Kim) Barnard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Alta Barnard, two of her grandsons, Tristan and Shaedan Strange and two of her previous spouses, Douglas Wilson and Walter Reavis.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Monument Care Facility and Ogden Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on May 3rd at 11:00 am at the Perry 6th Ward Chapel 1290 W. 2950 S. Perry,
