OGDEN-Alton Keith Brimhall, 87, passed away June 30, 2009 of natural causes. He was born August 12, 1921 to Earl and Jennie Brimhall in Juniper Springs, Colorado.
He served in WWII in the US Army Air Force in the South Pacific.
On November 10, 1948 he married Mariam Perry in the Salt Lake Temple.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed serving the Lord in many capacities throughout his life. These included serving as a stake missionary, a temple ordinance worker, and two missions with his wife. He spent hundreds of hours working on name indexing.
.He enjoyed gardening, camping, hunting, storytelling, and spending time with his family.
Keith worked at HAFB as a missile technician. In earlier years he owned his own business and operated heavy equipment.
He is survived by his wife Mariam, three sons; Tom, Jim and Doug (Lorraine) Brimhall, seven daughters; Kris (Charles) Zaugg, Marge (Mike) Bate, Virginia (Jim) Snow, Pam (Scott) Collins, Tricia (Greg) Lewis, Joann (Chad) Twitchell and Jennie (Gary) Hadfield, fifty-six grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, and one sister Mary (Bill) Backus.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Ward, 3755 Porter Ave., Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church and from 12:00 to 12:45 prior to the service.
Interment will be at West Point Cemetery
