Amy Pierce, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her will miss her dearly.

Amy had a deep love for her family, which was the cornerstone of her life. She was a constant source of support, warmth, and encouragement to those closest to her. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

An accomplished barber, Amy was adored by her clients for her incredible skill, warm personality, and genuine care for others. For her, every haircut was more than just a service; it was an opportunity to connect, brighten someone’s day, and make them feel special. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, and her impact on her friends, clients and family will not be forgotten.

Amy was a woman of many passions. She loved movies, reading, Pokémon, the Broncos football team, barbering, karaoke, and dressing up for Halloween. Her love for all of these things showcased her playful spirit and ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Amy’s kindness, generosity, and love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.

Amy was preceded in death by her mother Vonita Roxanna Buttars, her twin sister Jennifer Ann Price and nephew Christopher Michael Law. Amy is survived by her children, Janika Mendoza (Xavier), Joshua Wheeler (Alexas), Austin Wheeler and Kristen Wheeler. Grandchildren, Ryker Mendoza, Kash Mendoza, Cohen Mendoza, Eevie Taylor and River Wheeler and nephew Jonathon Holley (Gillian).

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Roy Hillside Senior Center, 5051 S. 2000 W., Roy, Utah from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
