René Shultz, 74 years of age, passed away on August 7, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Oliver Randolph Adams and Delores Dee Adams on February 2, 1950, she was the 2nd youngest of 8 siblings.
René was a complete angel on Earth, welcoming and loving everyone that came into her life. Everyone that had the opportunity to know her loved her, her quick wit, and her sense of humor that continued all the way through her final days in this physical life. She was the most loving, nurturing, caring, and compassionate woman that blessed every life that she encountered. She was a beautiful mother, wife, grandma, friend, sister, and overall human.
She graduated from Ogden High School in 1968. She worked for First Security Bank in the trust department for many years.
She loved to dance, and she loved Elvis. She would dance around the house with a broom while she was cleaning to any oldie’s song. She was so dang cute!
She married Joseph Rex Shultz on June 17, 1969. They just celebrated 55 years of marriage. Joe was her best companion, and took such good care of her, especially the last 12 years after he retired.
Her family was everything to her and she was everything to them.
Although she wasn't really religious, she had a deep love for Jesus and a very strong faith.
René is survived by her husband, Joseph Shultz; her 2 daughters, Dawn Shultz and Julia Shultz, sisters, Dixie Fournier and Franceen Sears; her brother, Stacy Adams; her 7 grandchildren: Kade, Adam, Landen, Dallas, Jonas, Christian, and Ronan; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She had a special relationship with her sister-in-law, Dawna Shultz and many others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joe Shultz; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with family at a Viewing on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. Aaron's Mortuary.
