Ann Cunningham Phillips Welsh

Ann passed away November 2, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle against Kidney Cancer.  She was born January 11, 1936 to John Phillips and Sarah Cunningham Phillips in Motherwell, Scotland.

She married Arthur Welsh on January 9, 1960 in Wishaw Scotland.  They immigrated to the USA in 1960.

She enjoyed several careers throughout her lifetime and made numerous life-long friends on her journey.

Ann’s  greatest joy in life was spending quality time with her grandchildren, Brittany, Zachary, Tristan, and Mackenzee.

She enjoyed traveling with her spouse back to Scotland and exploring new places.

Ann was a parishioner at the St Joseph Catholic Church.  

Ann is survived  by her husband Arthur; children, Ann Marie (Merlin) Karger, Aileen (Mark) Stebly, and Arthur Welsh, Jr;  four grandchildren and one great-grandchild;  also a brother, William (Margaret) Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby and sister, Irene.

Per Ann’s wishes she will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
