Anthony John Delarosa

October 25, 1971 — September 19, 2024

Anthony John Delarosa (Tony), born to Patricia Flores Delarosa and Guadalupe Delarosa on October 25th, 1971, in Lamar, Colorado left this world, unexpectedly, on September 19, 2024. Tony was 52 years young.

At age 12, Tony moved to Worland, WY with his mother and 7 siblings, where he spent the remainder of his teenage years. Tony was always happy and full of life. No matter what life threw at him, Tony always approached it with a smile on his face. Tony enjoyed fishing, a good BBQ and hanging out with friends and family. You would often find Tony listening to music and dancing, especially breakdancing. Tony never missed a chance to watch his Kansas City Chiefs play football.

Tony Graduated from Worland Senior High School. While living in Worland, he started his career as a welder. On August 26, 1990, Tony welcomed his son, John Anthony Alden. Tony gained his daughter, Erica, in 1997 through a previous marriage. Ultimately, Tony settled in Gillette, WY where he pursued his welding career. He resided in Gillette for over 10 years. Tony's recent decline in health pushed him to move to Odgen, Utah in order to be closer to his daughter and grandsons.

Tony was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, brothers, Guadalupe Jr. Delarosa and Matthew Delarosa, niece Sierra Herrera, nephew Julian Delarosa, many aunts and uncles, close friends, and his biggest loss, longtime four-legged companion, Gizmo.

Tony is survived by his mother, Patricia Flores of Worland WY, father Guadalupe Delarosa of Lamar, CO, son John (Skyla) Alden of Billings MT, daughter Erica (Mateo) Herrera of Odgen UT, sisters Rosa Delarosa and Vanessa (Troy) Taulman of Lamar CO. Brothers Isabel (Kirsten) Huertas of Hilo HI, Trinidad Huerta of Worland WY, sisters Ilda (Francisco) Deniz of Worland, Susanna (Salvador) Aguinaga of Taylorsville, UT and Rosanna May Garcia of Layton, UT, including grandkids and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his current companion, furry friend, Remington.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Worland Community Center, 1200 Culbertson Ave F, Worland, WY 82401, at 1 p.m.
