Born on July 9, 1938, in Pasadena, California, Arlene lived a life filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her family.
Arlene was a devoted mother to her three cherished boys: Todd, Ben, and Tom. She instilled in them the values of hard work, compassion, and the importance of family. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she embraced her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother with joy and enthusiasm. She was a bright light in the lives of her grandchildren, always encouraging their creativity and passions.
Raised in a Lutheran household in Minnesota during her childhood, Arlene carried her faith with her throughout her life. Her belief in community and connection inspired her to create a vibrant life for herself and her family.
A talented artist, Arlene channeled her passion for creativity into three small businesses in California: “Whimsey Daisy”, “Adventures in Art”, and the “Fat Cat Shirt Shack”. Through these ventures, she shared her love of artwork with others, leaving a lasting impact on her community. Her artistic flair and entrepreneurial spirit were a testament to her dedication to her craft and her ability to inspire those around her.
Arlene's educational journey was marked by her determination to succeed; she earned her GED and pursued her love of art through various trade schools. Her commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Arlene leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and resilience. She will be dearly missed by her sons: Todd, Ben, and Tom; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; and countless friends and family members who were touched by her warmth.
