Arthur Raymond Garcia

Our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many Arthur (Art) Raymond Garcia took his final breath on Saturday, June 19, 2021. Arthur was born on November 6, 1960, and grew up in Clearfield, Utah where he graduated from Clearfield High School. Arthur is survived in death by his father Efren Garcia and stepmom Shelia Garcia, brothers Alfred Garcia (Adele) Gene Punky Garcia (Carla), Chris Garcia and Steven Garcia as well as stepbrothers John Wixom, Warren Wixom, Richard Sheltra and Billy Sheltra and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Arthur also had two siblings who preceded him in death, Connie Garcia and Larry Garcia as well as his mother Evelyn Wixom and her husband Warren Wixom.

Arthur was a lover of music of all kinds and shared his passion with anyone who would listen with him. He had a warm personality, a great sense of humor and always had a joke or two to tell. Some say Art loved to “tinker” and found many treasures he could take apart and put back together.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor Arthur on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Aarons Mortuary 496 24th St. Ogden, Utah from 1pm-3pm. Immediately following the service, the family would like to invite you to attend a celebration of life gathering at Monroe Park, 850 30th street Monroe Blvd in Ogden at the East Corner Pavilion. We welcome all friends to come and share stories of Arthur and enjoy a light lunch.
