Arthur Howard Paskett

Arthur Howard Paskett passed away at the age of 88 years at home in Farr West, Utah on Tuesday, December 10,2013. He was born April 14, 1925 in Grouse Creek. Utah. Art attended Montello High School where he 4-lettered in basketball and was Valedictorian of his class of 1943. He married Pauline King in 1944 and later divorced. Together they had three children, Frances & Brent Olsen (daughter), Linda & Dave Ammer (daughter), Howard & Electra Paskett (son).). Art married Dianne Della Silva Happy, September 22, 1972 and their marriage was solemnized May 1974 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple. Art helped her raise her four children, Dennis Happy (son), Lourie & Randy Harrison (daughter), Ted & Pamla Lucas (daughter), and Julie Happy (daughter). Art was a WWII Veteran in the Asiatic Pacific and received Good Conduct & Victory medals; also awarded the Phillipines Independence Ribbon. He served in many church callings, Bishopric 2nd Counselor in Lynnwood, Washington, Senior Seventies President in Lynnwood, Washington Stake &Oklahoma, and Stake Mission President. He served full time mission with wife Dianne in Charlotte, North Carolina and in the LDS Cannery in Missoula, Montana for 2 years. He worked at Hill Air Force Base - Radio & Radar Service Operator for 17 years. Boeing APPRO in Seattle, Washington; GFP Manager in Kansas, Tech Order Manager in Oklahoma; and Saudie Awax program in Seattle, Washington; Fabian's Antiques- Antique restorer and woodworker in Anacortes, Washington .and Arts Wood working in Anacortes, Washington. He is survived by 26 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Paskett and Alice Johnson Paskett; siblings, Parley Paskett, Arnold Paskett, Ralva Mitchell , Emma Smith, Dorotha Paskett.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held from 0930 to 1045 prior to the service at the mortuary. Interment Syracuse City Cemetery.
