Barbara Gay Dunlap

My beloved wife, Barbara Gay Dunlap, passed away on January 18, 2025, due to a long illness. She was born in 1958 to Darnelle and Peggy Leavell in Green River, Wyoming. She is survived by her husband, Alan Dunlap and her son, Jeremy Sanford. She was preceded in death by her sons, Steven and Joshua Sanford.

Barbara was a kind and generous person. She would do anything for anyone who needed help. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking new recipes. She was the bravest person I have ever known. She loved to race her four-wheeler, and she was fast. She went skydiving in Arkansas with her sister, she showed absolutely no fear whatever. She was an avid fly fisherwoman, and we had great times together. We recently bought a fishing boat, but she only got to use it once before she got sick.

I know she loved me dearly and I miss her so much it hurts. I hope she is in heaven with her sons and dogs and looking down on her friends and family with a smile.
