Barry Todd DeSpain

Barry DeSpain, 52, our ironman, passed away March 29, 2010, finally becoming free from his battle with ALS. In 1975 he married his soulmate, Charity. His family was his life, and with them he enjoyed snowmobiling, spending time at their cabin and brewing beer. He also had a passion for reading and music. He loved to help others. Barry is survived by his wife, Charity; daughter, Aimee LaRee (Ryan) Peterson; mother, Leah (Lewis Briggs; father, Melvin (LaVewlle) DeSpain; two sisters, Vicki (Dennis) Eldridge; Pam (Val) Youngberg and his loving pets. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MDA/ALS Division of a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Friday, April 9th, 2010, 5-8 pm, at the Harrisville Cabin, 725 W Harrisville Rd. Arrangements under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary.
