Beatriz Amaya Chaparro, also known as Tichi, passed away on May 14th 2017, she was born in Nacori Chico Sonora, on Dec 3rd 1928 to Lorenzo and Georgina Amaya Trujillo. In her childhood years she lived in Mexico and helped her father take care of the ranch until she was married to Julio Chaparro, on July 23th 1949. They eventually made their way to Star Valley, WY where they settled and were loved by many in the community along with all their children.
She enjoyed all her family, music, dancing, sewing, crocheting, cooking, especially making Tamales for all her family and neighbors. She was known for her Tamales. She loved to help her family, she would take her shirt off her back to help someone else. She loved to take care of her grandchildren. She always loved to be happy and the life of the party. She moved to Utah in 1994 where they continued to make their home. She lost her beloved husband in 2005, shortly after her husband’s passing she moved in with her oldest daughter Maria and Angel, her son in law, where she lived with them 9 yrs.
She is survived by her children: Ramon Chaparro (Garimirka) Jose Chaparro (Leonor), Maria Auxiliadora Ramirez (Angel) Abel Chaparro (Maria) Noemi Buccheri (Mike) Rigo Chaparro (Lisa); 35 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and 2 sisters, Guadalupe Muniz and Cruz Elena Amaya. She was received in Heaven by her first 3 babies; her husband, Julio Chaparro; parents, Lorenzo and Georgina; 3 brothers: Andres, German, Angel and 1 sister Rita.
Tichi was a very selfless woman, amazing mother, grandmother and sister, she would always make you laugh and always singing songs at the top of her lungs. When your day was down all she had to do is walk into the room and would light up your life. She will be greatly missed by many specially her family.
Services will be held on Friday, May 19th 2017, viewing from 6-8 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St , Ogden Utah, 84401 with the funeral on May 20th at 10 am at Christian Church Manantial de Agua Viva, 288 w Golden Ave, Layton, Utah 84041. After this we will go to the Clinton Cemetery, 750 W 800 N, Clinton, Utah.
