Dad passed away peacefully on 27 June 2014. Our beloved father was born in Ogden, Utah to Benjamin Harrison Garr and Nora Lund. Ben was married to Jeanne Roberts.They had 4 children: Susan Harding (Richard), Brad Garr (Cyndi), Jan Roane (Duke), and Lisa Pantone (Mark), as well as,19 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.  He has one surviving sibling, Pat Garr. He later married and divorced Lamae Vernieu.
 Ben served his country is WWII in the Army. He owned Garr Insurance Agency for 30 years. His passion was music as a drummer and a jazz musician.  He played through out northern Utah,  He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, golf and camping.  Dad had many hobbies to include trains, painting and woodwork.  He  especially loved to socialize and entertain friends and family. Ben had an infectious and witty sense of humor which was probably his most remarkable trait.  He made everyone laugh right up to his last moment on earth.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11 am at the Ogden City Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 0945 am to 1045 am prior to the services at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
