Bernadine Starr Gonzales, 55, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Starr was born on March 27, 1959 in Ogden, Utah to Lupe and Annabell Prieto.
Starr was a strong independent woman who raised four strong independent daughters whom she loved without measure.
The love Starr held for her grand and great- grandchildren are unspeakable. Starr was blessed to have met and fall in love with her soul mate John Gonzales.
Starr is survived by her soul mate John Gonzales; father, Lupe Prieto; three brothers, Gino (Fabie) Prieto, Pernell Prieto, and Kim Prieto; three sisters, Toni (Lloyd) Maes, Jolene (Sharif) Fritchman, and Crystal Martinez; four daughters, Katrina Gonzales, Latisha (Carlene) Gonzales, Aniesa Gonzales and Angel (Bryan) Holston; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Starr was preceded in death by her mother, Annabell T. Prieto; brother, Johnny Prieto;, and great- grandson, Sebastian Lucas.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Aarons mortuary, 496 24th Street Ogden, Utah.
