Bernardita Pike

February 28, 1921 — August 9, 2014

Berny Pike,  93, Ogden, UT and formerly of New Mexico and Las Vegas, NV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 9, 2014.  Berny was born on February 28, 1921 in Alamosa, Colorado.

 Berny and her husband Charles owned and operated Pike’s jewelry in Espanola for 40 years.  Together they also owned and operated CB Pike’s Real Estate.  Berny enjoyed life to the fullest.  She especially enjoyed entertaining her friends and family with her delicious cooking.  She was a member of the Ogden’s Newcomer’s Club, and the Red Hatter’s Club, and a great bowler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pike Sr., and  son Charles (Chucky) Pike, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Cecilia Winthrop and husband, Ken of  Ogden, UT;  son, Jason Pike and wife, Cindy of Albuquerque;  grandchildren, Sabrina Hammond, Jeanette Ellsworth, Valerie Baran, Kimberly St. Sauver, Michael Baran, Jayme Baran, Nike Pike, Gina Hoffman, Daniel Baran, Amanda Baran, Stacy Pike and Brandon Pike;  21 great-grandchildren,  2 great-great children;  Godmother  to Bernadette (Sanchez) Wiegel and Cynthia Borrego.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th Street,  Ogden, UT.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Aspen Care and to Father Ken at St Joseph’s.
