Betty Maurine Alverson

Betty Maurine Alverson, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, passed away 11 July 2014 at her home in Layton, Utah, at the age of 77, after a three year battle with cancer.

Betty graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Logistics Management.  She was employed at Hill Air Force Base for thirty-eight years before retiring in 2008.  She had lived in Oklahoma and California previous to living in Utah.

Betty was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on 7 Oct 1936.  She was the daughter of Roger Randel and Annabelle Stanton, both deceased.

She is survived by her daughters Cheryl Fergeson and Debbie Schimmer, her sister and brother-in-law Ramona and Delmar Roberts.  Betty had five grandchildren Kaylynn Spackman , Clinton Spackman, Tyson Bryant, Stephen Fergeson, and Katy Schimmer, her great grandchildren Austin Castillo, Arriana Castillo, Arraya Castillo, and Kora Schimmer, and all of her dear nieces and nephews in California.

Inurnment will be at the Washington Heights Memorial Park, Ogden, Utah.
