Betty Lou Evans

OGDEN- Betty Lou (Widmeyer) Evans, aged 80, died April 1, 2009 in Ogden, Utah, after a short illness.

Betty was a wonderful Mother, who raised five children with her ex-husband, Dean Edward Evans. Betty was an accomplished artist, who was also an amazing seamstress, quilter and loved crocheting. She was a kind, warm, generous and out-going person, who loved life and will be missed by her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her children, Cheryl Evans Gallow, Raymond (Shawn) Evans, Scott (Marilynn) Evans, and Rudy (Stacy) Evans; granddaughters Megan Gallow, Kayla, Jessi and Montana Evans; grandsons Sean, Kevin, Matthew and Andrew Evans. She is also survived by her brother EJ (Buss) and LaRae Widmeyer, Barbara Wolcott, Marjorie Monson and Merle and John Burt and various nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dean Evans, brother Ted Widmeyer, parents Errol and Eulalia (Peterson) Widmeryer.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. - Aaron's Mortuary 1600 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be Washington Heights Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary and Crematory.
