Betty Marie Farr

Betty Marie Petersen Farr returned to heaven on March 5, 2016.  Born May 2, 1938, Betty was raised in Logan, Utah, where she lived until her marriage to Keith B. Farr in 1963 (later divorced).

She was a loving mother to her three daughters and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Nothing brought her greater joy than being with her family. Betty dedicated her entire life to serving others. Her kindness and dedication to the Lord and to serving others were an inspiration to all who knew her. 

 Betty lived in  Idaho Falls, Idaho, and moved to Lodi, California in 1967, where she raised her girls. She moved to Washington Terrace, Utah in 1987. 

She served many callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints throughout her life and especially loved her ward.

 Betty was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Petersen; her mother, Virginia  Smith Cornell; her siblings: Alice, Shirley, Clara, Virginia, Henry and her daughter, Angela Farr Birchfield.

 She is survived by her brother, Jim (Carol); sister, Joyce Petersen; daughters, Lisa Rigley (Ken) and Susan Fahncke (Marty); her grandchildren: Sarah Haynes (Robert), Rachel Rigley, Joshua Rigley, Caleb Rigley, Nicholas Farr, Brandie Lazaro (Shawn), Maya Martinkus (Christopher), Noah Fahncke, Ian Fahncke, and Tanner Evans, as well as her great-granddaughters: Olive Martinkus, Sydnie Johnson and Audrie Lazaro.

Viewing will be Friday, March 11, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at the Washington Terrace 7th Ward located at 4855 South 300 West in Washington Terrace, Utah.
