Betty Rae Walker
Our beloved mother Betty Rae passed away on Thursday, November 12, peacefully, and surrounded by family at her home in Riverdale, Utah. She was born on February 10, 1941 in Spokane, Washington and was 74 years of age.
Betty is survived by Ralph, her love of 14 years; daughter MaryLou (Joe), son Robert (Yvonne), daughter Barbara (Bob); son Aaron (Natalie), sisters Joanne Brown and Margaret McDermott. She also leaves behind her six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Betty is preceded in death by her mother Gertrude Cole and brother Robert Cole.
Many people never find their true passion in life. Betty was an individual blessed with many. Betty had a special gift for interacting with people from all walks of life and was valued by an astonishing array of individuals.
Though terribly missed, we are grateful for her life and celebrate a truly amazing woman.
At her request no funeral services will be held. Anyone wishing to pay tribute to Betty is encouraged to do so by donating to the American Heart Association or Intermountain Homecare & Hospice, 4387 Harrison Blvd, Ogden UT, 84403.
The family expresses their gratitude to Intermountain Hospice of Ogden, who lovingly and skillfully cared for mom.
