On Tuesday, June 8, 2021, Beverly Meacham Jensen, loving wife, and mother returned home to her. Heavenly Father at the age of 85.
Mom was born on February 22, 1936, to Elvin and Ora Meacham and was raised in Lago Idaho. She married the love of her life Kimball Jensen on November 16, 1956, and they were sealed in the Ogden LDS temple on April 18, 2009. Together they raised four children.
Mom dearly loved her family and thoroughly enjoyed attending annual reunions at her brother Dean’s house every summer. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held numerous positions and was especially passionate about her calling as the music director of her ward. Mom and Dad lived in different places around the country for Dad’s work before finally settling in North Ogden. She worked at ZCMI for several years before retiring from the Internal Revenue Service.
Mom was well known for being sweet and loving but could also be spunky when sharing her opinions. Mom was preceded in death by her father Elvin, mother Ora, brother Louis, and sisters Carol, Kathleen and Kay, and grandson Christopher. She is survived by her husband Kimball, and children Robert “BJ” and spouse Cara, Susan and spouse Bob, Deborah and spouse Drew, and Michael, her siblings, Arlen, Dean, Joyce, Don and Duane as well as several cousins, nephews, nieces, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
