Bonita Irene Dungan Carlson

Bonita passed away October 15, 2016 from Pancreatic Cancer.

Bonita was born in El Reno, Oklahoma. She raised on the Family Farm in Banner, Oklahoma. She attended a one room school and rode her horse “Betty” to school. She graduated from El Reno High School in 1955. In 1978, Bonita met the love of her life, Clifford Carlson, in Sunday School. Bonita and Clifford were married February 14, 1980. What a wonderful life they have had.

Bonita retired from Hill Air Force Base in May of 1992. After retiring from Hill, Bonita and Clifford traveled the United States in their recreational vehicle.

Bonita had eight children: Thomas Woolworth, Jr (Connie), Tim Woolworth (Stephanie) and Brendan K Woolworth, Stephanie Carlson-Hanlin, Jennifer Carlson-Yocom, Ken Carlson (Natalie), Craig Carlson and Mark Carlson (Tina). Bonita has 22 grandchildren: Desiree, Luke, Demetria, Leslie, Lauren, Tyler, Brooke, Haley, Morgan, Shawn, Jessica, Andy, Aricka, Ashley, Kellie, Camie, Bobbylyn, ChaLese, Mandy, Trisha, Josh and Kyle. Bonita has thirteen great-grand kids.

Celebration of life will be held  December 10, 2016 at 11 am with a meet and greet from 10-1045 am prior to the service at the Washington Heights Church, 1770 E 6200 S, South Ogden, Utah.  

Bonita was active in the Christian Faith. She was a member of the Washington Heights Church.

Bonita was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Stella Dungan, her brothers Eldon Dungan, Leo Dungan, Jr. and Raymond Dungan.

The family wishes to thank the Envision Home Health and Hospice, Nurse Rhoda Dalton, Hospice Aide Cheyenne, Nurse Susan and Dr. Gary R Gray, Utah Hematology Oncology for their compassionate medical and end of life care of Bonita.
