Brian Paul Flynn, Brother, Son, Nephew, Cousin, Friend and Best Friend passed away on January 7th 2022 in Ogden, Utah. Brian was born June 28th 1965 at Hamilton Field, Marin County, California the son of David Wallace and Christina Joan Flynn.
Brian had a heart of gold and a great love for his dogs. His dogs were his children. Brian had a great love of music, video games (he loved playing his tank game online) and old movies anything Godzilla and of course his favorite movie of all time “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Brian was a great friend, one you could always count on. He loved wholeheartedly.
Brian spent the majority of his career life working for the Ogden I.R.S., a time which he cited as hell on earth, he made many lifelong friends there and was able to successfully retire 2 years before his death. He always said he had to be good or he would be reincarnated as a I.R.S. worker. Brian will not be coming back as an I.R.S. worker as he was a very kind and loving person. Brian struggled with health issues for several years and somehow, he maintained his sense of humor and upbeat attitude. Brian always put others before himself.
Brian leaves behind his brother, Christopher D. Flynn; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved dogs, James T. Kirk and Bones, having lost Scotty earlier this year (did I mention he loved Star Trek?)
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, David Wallace Flynn and Christina Jones Flynn; paternal grandparents, Morris E. and Jean F. Flynn; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Val Hansen.
Brian was loved and will be sorely missed.
Services will be at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah on January 22, 2022 at 12 noon.
