Brittany Ann and Benson Lane Weston

It is with great sadness in our hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear Brittany Ann Weston, age 37, and Benson Lane Weston, age 8, in August 2024 in Troy, New Hampshire. They were taken from us far too soon. Brittany was the fourth and youngest child of Charles Richard and Merry Carole Pitt. She was born in Ogden, Utah on March 11, 1987. Brittany was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of everyone around her. Her smile and cute laugh were endearing.

Brittany's greatest desire was to be a mother and Heavenly Father blessed her with Benson on April 28, 2016, in Geelong, Australia. She dedicated her life to being the best mother to her beloved “little B”, and would spend hours homeschooling him, playing outside, dancing and singing songs. It was special to see her so happy with Benson. Benson loved his mom too, as evidenced in his original song that he created and performed for her on Mother's Day where he shared all the things he loved about her. She was often amazed at the "adult" things he would do and say. He was growing up too fast as kids do. Benson was a ray of sunshine who was a friend to everyone he met. 

They moved to Troy in June of this year and loved it there. Brittany always told everyone how beautiful New Hampshire is and how friendly the community of Troy is.

They were both too young to leave this earth, but we don't know the purposes of the Lord. We celebrate the wonderful memories we have of them and praise God for the time we were able to share with them. We look forward to the great reunion we will have in the life to come.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Smithfield City Cemetery, 300 E Center Street, Smithfield, Utah 84335. A Candlelight Vigil was previously held in Troy, New Hampshire on September 12, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m.
