Bruce Merrill Hansen 

July 13, 1958- November 3, 2016

Bruce was born July 13, 1958 to Bobbie & Leslie Hansen. He grew up in Layton, UT where he attended Layton high.

After high school he met and married Sherrie Edwards. Together they had three beautiful children. They later divorced after struggling with the loss of their youngest child. But that didn't stop him from being an amazing father to his two cherished daughters.

Bruce loved to be in nature, he was a true mountain man at heart. He liked to escape by a ride on his motorcycle with the wind in his hair. You could call him a pool shark, and was known to beat people one handed. He loved rock & roll and loved to have a good time usually at his favorite hangout Dar's. He will always be remembered by his contagious laugh or mischievous snicker. He really knew how to bring a smile to someone's face. It makes you wonder how he could fit such a big heart inside.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbie (Amos) Gagon; two sisters, Donna (Ken) Huntington and Leslye (Craig) Johnson; two children, Alicia Jean and Monica Joyce Hansen; along with many, many more friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Hansen; son, Joshua Leslie Hansen; and grand-dog, Baxter.

You will forever be missed and never forgotten.

Services for Bruce will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016  at 1 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, Utah.
