Bruce B. Holland, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 surrounded by his wife and his girls. Bruce was born March 14,1934 in Mason City, Iowa to Clifford B. and Helen M. Holland.
He attended and graduated from Mason City High School and Jr. College prior to enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed in London, England where he met and fell in love with his beautiful wife, Wyn. They were married in 1958 and ultimately ended up in Roy, Utah where they have lived for 53 years. They have 3 daughters, Candy (Larry) Schenk, Layton; Kimberly (Vance) King, Preston, ID; and Tracey (Robert) Archibald, Roy.
Bruce was employed in radio broadcasting for over 20 years working for stations KIMN, in Denver; KLO; KSVN and KANN. He was known as "The World Famous Bruce Holland." He was the voice of the Ogden Dodgers Pioneer Baseball Team for many seasons during the late 60's through the 70's. He also, much to the surprise of his family, became a Crossing Guard for Roy City Police and worked in that position, primarily serving North Park Elementary, for close to 20 years.
He loved dogs, established WynJoLynn Kennels, and became a professional handler, traveling to shows all over the western United States. The entire family loved boating and fishing and spent almost every weekend on the water. Later, they joined the Good Sam Club where he is a past Chapter Commander, and began traveling in the motor home.
Bruce was a great family man, neighbor and friend and will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Wyn; three daughters, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several step- grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11 am at Aaronâs Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
Friends may meet family from 10 to 1050 am prior to the service at the mortuary.
