Bruce Allen Marietti

April 7, 1955 — February 25, 2009

FARR WEST a€" Our sweetheart, father, grandfather, son and brother, Bruce Allen Marietti traded his broken body for angel wings on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. His eternal companion Kathy was at his side when he suffered a heart attack. Bruce was born on April 7, 1955, in Ishpeming, Michigan and was raised by wonderful parents, Gerald and Sally Moore Marietti.

He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1973. Soon after, Bruce joined the Navy. He loved serving his country and kept the family laughing at his sea stories.

Bruce met and married his best friend, Kathleen Hennigan, on April 26, 1975. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. He loved the Savior and was a active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bruce was an example of love and service to all who knew him.

Bruce formed many lifelong friendships in his twenty-three years working at ATK, Thiokol. He missed the challenge of his occupation after his medical retirement. He had a very sharp mind and could fix anything, and loved serving others with his talents.

He loved being a father to four spectacular children: Jamie, Holly, Alan, Ian and very proud of them and their spouses. He was known to wander the store for hours looking for simple treasures and sweets for his grandbabies: Joseph, Jacob, Taylor, Cayden, Hannah, Lauryn, Madalyn, Kamryn, Carter, Hailey, Brodi, and Trevan. In Grandpa's eyes these little ones were always right and his greatest joy.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, two sons Alan, (Kristin) Marietti, Clinton, UT., Ian (Tausha) Marrietti, Little Rock, AR., two daughters Jamie (Jason) Rudloff, Stockton, CA., Holly (Jason) Williams, Farr West, UT. thirteen grandchildren, parents Gerald and Sally Marietti of Harrisville, UT. brothers Jerry (Darsha) Marietti of No. Ogden, UT., and twin brother Brian (RaNae) Marietti, Roy, UT. Dennis (Diane) Marietti, No. Ogden, UT. sister Patricia (Brad) Moore, Roy, UT. and also survived by mother in-law Gaylene Moore, Brian and Cheryl Quilty, Sacramento, CA. and many other loved family members, and extended family and friends.

We love you Dad, and we know you ran into our Savior's out stretched arms.
