Carlos Lee Colwell was born March 14, 1984, in Laredo, Texas.
He is survived by his parents, Benjamin and Nelda Colwell; 5 brothers: David, Richard, Ben, Tony, Pat; 3 sisters: Brenda, Danielle, Rachel; and many loving family members. He deeply loved his siblings and all his family. He lived with his brother, Tony who always made sure he had a place to live.
Carlos enjoyed playing and watching sports. His first love was the Denver Broncos. He loved to watch old sitcoms, and comedy shows. He had them all memorized and repeated the lines often. He appreciated good food and the people who brought it to him.
Carlos loved the United States and our Constitution. He stood up for his beliefs and was not afraid to speak his mind.
He worked for many years at the IRS and loved and appreciated all the care and concern from his wonderful coworkers. They were the reason he loved his job and looked forward to going to work.
He spent many years on dialysis and was so grateful for the loving care he received there.
Carlos has wonderful, loyal friends who have been by his side during his extended illness. Vanessa Valdez was truly his personal angel in his worst time of need. Her Christlike love and care will never be forgotten.
Carlos knew and expressed his love for the Savior.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 South State Street, Clearfield.
