Carol Stella (Lemberes) Griffin
Carol S. Griffin of West Haven, Utah, died on Friday, July 17, 2015. She was born to Louie and Jean Lemberes on April 16, 1943, in Ogden, Utah. Carol graduated from Ogden High School in 1961 and obtained a degree in Sociology from Weber State College in 1967.
Carol married Larry L. Griffin in 1967 and had one son, Paul Griffin, in 1969. She worked as a social worker, a state Job Service Counselor, and held several positions for the Federal Government in various cities throughout the western states.
Besides her husband f 48 years, Carol is survived by her son, Paul Griffin; three grandchildren, Matt, Alex and Cassie Griffin; and her brother, Robert Lemberes.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Shriners hospitals for Children at Fairfax Road at Virginia Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84103, 801-313-3745.
Cremation will be handled by Aaron’s Mortuary, and a memorial gathering of close friends and family will be announced at a later time.
