Carol Renee Sleeper

Carol Renee Branz Sleeper passed away June 7, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 12, 1935 to Carl and Fern Lund Jensen in Ogden, Utah.

She attended Ogden City Schools and worked at various jobs including Auerbachs, Travel Lodge, ZCMI, Pilkington Apparel, Ogden City School District, and Wal-Mart.

Carol married Albert Branz with whom she had four wonderful sons. They divorced but became good friends again later in life. She married William Sleeper from whom she was later divorced.

She is survived by her four sons Mike (Jan) Branz of North Ogden, Steve (Shelley) Branz of Plain City, Mark (Tahanie) Branz of Sherwood, Oregon, formerly of Pleasant View, and Rich (Kari) Branz of Roy, fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Leo Branz of Ogden and sister-in-law Stella Moyes of Tooele.

Carol leaves behind a beloved cousin Pat Malan and friend Jan Berger both of whom supported Carol through her courageous battle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dean Jensen, his wife Helen Jensen, and two grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Utah and Heritage Park for their loving support in caring for Carol, and her family in her final days.

Graveside services will he held Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. a€" Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Ogden, UT.
