Carolyn Sue Saunders (Hannon) Schultz, age 52, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. Born on January 31, 1973, Carolyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Carrie had a passion for camping and fishing, and she was known for her kindness and love for her husband and boys. She took care of them with such love and dedication. Carrie also adored her cat, Arion, who brought her much joy. She loved watching her favorite shows, crocheting, and playing board games and cards with her boys. After marrying her true love, Don Schultz, they traveled often, allowing her to see and experience so much of the world. She had an amazing sense of humor and a cuteness to her personality; just talking to her would put a smile on your face and make you laugh. She was a devoted family member who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
Carrie is survived by her loving husband, Don Schultz, her children, Jacob Hannon and Harley Hannon, her granddaughter, Acacia Hannon, her sister, Tami Rapp (James), her father, Gary Vance Saunders Sr., and her brother, Gary Saunders Jr. (Minnie). She leaves behind ten nieces and nephews, along with many friends who loved and adored her.
Carrie was preceded in death by her mother, Deann Sargent, her brother, John Colton Saunders, and her first husband, Kevin Hannon.
A family viewing will be held on Thursday night, March 20th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A memorial service will be held on March 21, 2025, at Aarons Mortuary, 1050 S State St, Clearfield, UT. Viewing will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. 11am service Carolyn will be laid to rest at Lindquist's Layton Memorial Park, 1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT.
After the services, there will be a luncheon at Park chapel, 838 East 600 South, Clearfield, UT.

My sweet Carrie, we saved each other when we met and had a beautiful life together. I will hold you in my heart and soul till we meet again. Carolyn will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
