Maria Isabel Celsa Sena Garcia

Celsa Garcia, 88, passed away on August 10, 2018.  She was born on March 19, 1930 in Pecos, New Mexico to Celso Sena and Eduvigen Valencia Sena.

On May 17, 1947, Celsa married Manuel A. (deceased) Garcia in Pecos, New Mexico,  In 1952 they moved to Clearfield, Utah.  They later divorced, but remained friends.

Celsa worked several jobs in the Clearfield/Ogden area.  She worked as a Senior Companion for over 18 years.  She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, singing and dancing and family trips to Wendover.

Celsa is survived by her children:  Lola (Marty, deceased) Martinez, Stella (Joe) Ybarra, Alice (Dave) Chavez, Manuel Garcia Jr, James (Louise) Garcia, Lucy (Brent) Cummins, and Mary (Kevin) Sprague; 14 grandkids;  25 great-grandkids; two great-great- grandkids; and several nieces and nephews.

Celsa was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; one son, Daniel L. Garcia; one grandson, Derek Cummins; and one great-grandson, Tyson Chavez.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10 am at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210  S. Chapel St, Layton ,Utah.  Friends may visit with family Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm with a Rosary at 7:30 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 1050 S. State St, Clearfield, Utah.     Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
