Charles Bert Parker

Bert was called back home on January 15, 2025. He was born in California on December 10, 1942.

Bert joined the Air Force and was stationed at Hill Air Force Base Utah, where he met the love of his life, Gwen. They were married in 1966 and moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where they had their son, David, in August 1972. They then relocated back to Utah where Bert worked and retired both from the Railroad and the Davis County Sheriff Department.

Bert was deeply involved in Search and Rescue. He loved to travel with his wonderful wife and best friends, Kathy and Andy. Bert loved photography and watching golf and PBR. He always had on the news or was reading the newspaper.

Bert was preceded in death by both his parents; his granddaughter, Jordyn; his son, David; and his beloved wife, Gwen.

Bert is survived by his sister, Cheri (Tom) Daniel; nieces, Kimberly and Marlo; nephews: Kevin, Jimmy, and Roger; daughter Stacy (Brian) Smith; grandchildren: Skyler Parker, Aaron (Michaela) Parker, and Cory (Justin) Carey; and great grandboys: Erikai Parker, Kyson Carey, and Sebastian Parker.

Bert you are loved and will be missed.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 State Street, Clearfield, Utah.
