Cheryl Ann Bletsch

June 15, 1944 — November 1, 2015

Cheryl Ann Bletsch passed on to heaven to be with her blessed Savior on Sunday, November 1, 2015.  She was born June 15, 1944 to Donald and Marjorie Elizabeth Griffin Struble in Marysville, California.

She had a testimony of salvation.  Cheryl was saved at Lake Tahoe at a teen Summer Camp while serving as a counselor.  She heard the gospel of Jesus Christs’ saving grace from two fellow counselors.  She was a faithful member of North Central Baptist Church.

She attended Chico State in 1962 and then transferred  to Western Baptist Bible College where she graduated  with a Bachelor’s degree in 1966. From 1966 to 1975 she served as assistant Librarian at the University of Berkley.

Cheryl married Gary Bletsch September 25, 1976 in El Cerreto, California.

She  enjoyed building miniature doll houses and drawing.  Most of all she loved spending time with her  family which included homeschooling her two daughters.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Gary;  daughters, Amy Turner of Rosalia, WA  and Heidi Lawson of Marysville, CA;  six grandchildren; brother, Don Struble of LaHabra, CA;  sisters, Susan Rahimi  of Fair Oaks, CA, Kathy Flachsbarth of Pleasanton, CA and Diane Zeltner of, Sacremento, CA.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Isaiah 41:10 – Cheryl’s favorite verse:                                                                                                                      

  “Fear thou not; for I am with thee:  be not dismayed; for I am thy God:  I will strengthen thee, yea I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11 am at North Central Baptist Church, 5434 S. 1900 W. in Roy, Utah.  Friends may visit with family from 9:30 to 10:45 am for a closed casket viewing prior to the service at the church. The graveside service will be at West Point Cemetery after the Funeral.
