Christopher Walker

Chris Walker completed his earthly journey on February 9, 2024, with his beloved wife, Michelle, by his side.

Chris Walker was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, on January 21,1960. He was raised in North Ogden, Utah by parents, Pamela Roth and Gary Walker. He graduated from Weber High School.

He married the love of his life and best friend, Michelle Niernberger. They made their home in Oahu, Hawaii. While living there, they were blessed with two children, son, Zackary Robert, and daughter, Rachel Ann. Chris relished fatherhood and was a loving and caring father. He was very involved in raising their children. He participated in all their activities. He was a football coach for Zack’s team and Rachel was a cheer leader for the team. He was active in the Boy Scouts. They camped quite a bit with the Boy Scouts as a family on the beaches of Hawaii. He could frequently be found dirt biking in the mountains with both kids. He never missed a school program and was there to cheer on Zack and Rachel at their sporting events. He was an amazing father and was dearly loved by his children.

Chris loved spending time with his wife. Together they enjoyed going on cruises, doing home renovations, river rafting, and taking family vacations. They liked to drive in the mountains to take in the majesty that nature had to offer. They also like visiting antique shops. Chris refurbished many of their finds, turning them into treasured works of art. In addition, he liked to hunt, fish, watch football, and restore old cars. He was a skilled carpenter and an accomplished businessman.

He was a very good son, brother, and friend. He willingly offered his help to whomever was in need.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Walker; children, Zack Walker and Rachel Allred; mother, Pam Bolton; brothers, Aaron Walker, Craig Smith, Chad Smith, and Jimmy Bolton; and sisters, Cindy Pollard, Shelli Abramowski, and Cindy Requa. He was preceded in death by father, Gary Walker; sisters, ZoeAnne Walker, Cathy Smith, Sheila Smith; and stepfather, James Bolton.

All family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the home of Kathy Allred in Plain City on May 18, 2024, at 2 p.m.
