Claudia Fraley Sorensen

November 4, 1945 — January 1, 2020

January 1, 2020 was not only the start of the New Year but it's the day our dear mother Claudia Fraley Sorensen, age 74 chose to start her new life after death journey.

Waiting for her on the other side were her parents Claude Fraley and Elaine Loveless and her little brother Joel, as well as many others from her family tree and friends she held close to her heart.

She grew up in Clearfield, Ut and graduated from Clearfield High in 1964.  She leaves behind 4 sisters. One of which was her twin Claudine (Dick) Brinkman. Growing up they were often referred to as the Fraley twins. Sheila (Dallas) Cutler, Val (Nate) Morgan and Selene (Roger) Sigler.

She married Brent A. Sorensen and they had 4 beautiful children. Collette Sorensen Smith, Kari Sorensen, Clint (Kim) Sorensen and Heather Sorensen. She had 7 even more beautiful grandchildren. J.B. (Thelissa) Plyer, Nick (Mercedes) Sorensen, Brady (Victoria) Sorensen, Hunter (Riley) Sorensen, Colby Sorensen, and A.J. Sorensen, and 1 granddaughter Rachel, and one more grandson on the way. As well as 6 great grandchildren, Sheyenne, Cody, Cameron, Keymora, Kendrick, Remington and one on the way.

Her proudest moments in life were her family, and when the Utah Jazz would win a game. She watched and recorded every game for past 20+ years.  Off season you could find her up at Fort Hall playing Bingo.

She had a smile that could light up a room.  Her hobbies were bowling, which she played on leagues for many years and won several trophies, making quilts for friends and family, and crocheting rugs where she received several ribbons from the Utah State Fair.  She will be mostly remembered for her cooking and baking skills using recipes passed down for generations.

Special thanks to the staff at South Ogden Post-Acute care facility, and the friendships she made while there.

Rest In Peace Our Dear Mother.
