Claudina Romero Padilla

Claudina Romero Padilla was born to Rome Romero & Jessie Medina Romero on March 30, 1926 in Del Norte, Colorado.Claudina passed away January 26, 2013 of dementia & old age; she was surrounded by her Loving & Caring daughter, Lisa Padilla, and Saint Mary and her Rosary Beads.

Claudina married John J Padilla on March 28, 1948.John passed away on October 28, 1994.Claudina and John loved to listen to Mexican & Big Band music and truly enjoyed playing cards with their many friends.Claudina also enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting throws and beautiful vests & clothes.

She also enjoyed her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren & watching her favorite television shows.She always surrounded herself with her Saints and her Rosary Beads, as they gave her great comfort when she became a shut in.She was a kind and loving mother, sister and friend and will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her sons, Ben Padilla (Albuquerque NM), John & (Margaret) Padilla Jr, James Padilla and her daughters Lisa Padilla & Ramona Padilla. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, & 23 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters, Matilda (Manuel) Vigil (Clinton, Utah), Ramona Zuniga and Dora Garcia (both from La Puente, CA).

She was preceded in death by her Husband, John Padilla, Parents, Rome & Jessie Romero, Sister, Molly Navarro, Son, Richard Cervantes and Great Grandson Joseph Cervantes. She attended Saint Joseph's Catholic Church; where a funeral mass will be held at 2:30 February 1, 2013. No Viewing will be held.
