Colleen Elvira Olafson

Colleen Elvira Haddon Olafson passed away in Washington Terrace, Utah, on Friday, April 8,

2016.

Colleen was born May 15, 1947, in Ogden, Weber County, Utah, to David I. Haddon and Nellie

E. Tippets Haddon. Colleen attended Weber County Schools, graduating from Bonneville High

School in 1965.

She attended Weber State College, and later retired from the Veterans Administration.

Colleen married Alf Olafson in 1970. They had one son from that marriage and were later

divorced.

Colleen is survived by her son, Shane Olafson, Phoenix, Arizona, a brother, Theron Haddon(Claudia), Meridian, Idaho, and a brother Rick Haddon (Connie), Bountiful, Utah.

Colleen was preceded in death by her mother, father and a brother, Lonny Haddon .

Services for Colleen will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.  Friends and relatives will be greeted at 10:00 a.m. with the memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. The grave will be dedicated immediately following the service at the Ogden City Cemetery, Ogden, Utah.
