Connie Laverne Bowman, selfless Mother, Good Samaritan, and passionate Outdoors-Woman passed away at the age of 69, Wednesday morning, June 24, 2015 in her Ogden home. The perfect combination of strength and kindness, Connie was not only a skilled hunter, fisherwoman, and outdoor-enthusiast, but was an expert seamstress and crafter. Through her benevolence and generosity, Connie will forever be remembered as the light that kept the darkness away.
Connie is succeeded by her loving children: Alisa (Tammy) and Denise of Ogden, and Martin (Karen) of Wyoming; grandchildren: Kristen (John), Megan, Kallie (Joel), Matthew, Janesa (Jordan), Cameron, Taylor (Teighlor), Kaysie, and Shyann; and great-grandchildren: Eli, Ezra, Sierra, Aiden, Elliot and Lance.
Connie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Earl Bowman; her parents, Lee and Dollie Erwin; sister, Sherrie Davis, and grandchildren, Caitlin and Vanesa.
Memorial services will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gray Cliff Lodge (508 Ogden Canyon, Ogden, Utah).
