Connie Child

On May 16, 2013, our mother, sister, grandmother and friend passed away after an extended illness. Connie Child was born on March 19, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Lillian Bessie Combe and Vern Herbert Allen. Connie was married to Allen Guy Child and together they raised 11 amazing children. Their marriage was solemized in the Ogden LDS Temple on April 15, 1982. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one son, two sisters and both parents. She leaves behind a posterity of 10 children, 51 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind two brothers and two sisters. Her loves were dancing, traveling and decorating, and most of all her family. Special thanks goes to CNS Hospice and their very special employees, Sean McShane and Mary Lou and Dr. Nameer Qader without whom, we could not have allowed our mother to die in peace and with dignity. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street. A viewing will be held from 10 to 1045 am prior to the service.
