Craig Scott Hansen

September 25, 1957 — September 3, 2014

Craig Scott Hansen passed away on September 3, 2014, after a three-year battle with heart disease and emphysema.  He was the son of Wayne B. Hansen and Sally D. Hansen.   He grew up and attended school in the Ogden area.

Craig worked for over twenty years at Utility Trailer, where he made many friends.  He had a great work ethic.  He loved to tinker and could fix anything.  He loved the outdoors.  In his younger years he was an avid skier.  Later he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  But, his greatest joy was riding his motorcycle.   He got his first bike when he was 13 – a Honda 125 – but soon moved on to bigger and faster.  During those biking  years, he made many close friendships.  He will  be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Craig is survived by his parents, Wayne Hansen, North Ogden, and Sally Hansen, Roy;  a daughter, Terry Hansen, Ogden;  two sons, Kris Stevenson, Ogden and Kody Stevenson, Mesa, Arizona.  He is also survived by four sisters, Sheri (Mike) Douglas, Layton; Lori (Steve) Barnes, Washington Terrace; Mechele (Rod) Hester, Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and Angela (Mike) Postel, Syracuse, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the American Legion in Huntsville on September 21, 2014 at 1 pm for all of his friends and biker buddies.  The family will have a service for Craig at a later date.
