Christy Johanna Jensen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and
friend. She peacefully left this world on Dec. 21, 2023, while surrounded by her loving family. Christy
was born Nov. 4, 1952 in Brigham city, UT to Jack Barnes Corbett and Bonnie Jean Bywater Corbett. She
was the eldest daughter of eight children and grew up in a close-knit family.

Christy married Gene Earl Bunderson in 1968 to this marriage they had three children, they were later
divorced. Christy remarried Alan Willard Jensen in 1987, they later where divorced. In the most resent
years Christy had found love again with her very supportive beloved companion Elwyn Long.

Christy had a love for many things in life. She loved outdoors, gardening and had a green thumb for all
indoor plants. She had her way with small children, and they all seemed to flock toward her. Christy had
a wonderful kind spirit and animals seemed to sense this. Everyone’s pets always seemed to try to adopt
her and get her to take them home.

She will be missed dearly by her children: Paul Bunderson (Leah), Tonie Sanchez (John), April Campbell
(Samuel); her grandchildren: Sophia, Austin, Stephan, Jayden Sanchez and Aiden, Darwin Campbell; her
siblings: Edward (Jed) Corbett, Denise (Kevin) Roche, Penny Soto, Teresa (Carol) Layton, and Terri
Neilson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Corbett; her mother, Bonnie Corbett; and her 3 brothers:                                                 Steven Corbett, George Corbett and infant brother Jack, Jr. Corbett; and many extended family
members and friends that loved her.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation to McKay Dee Palliative services, the wonderful
attentive McKay Dee medical floor nursing staff and IHC hospice staff for their loving and attentive care.

Family has chosen to do a celebration of life at a later date in the spring, to allow all that loved her to be
present in remembering Christy.
