Crystal Larae Gallegos Peer-Rochell

June 30, 1982 — December 17, 2024

On December 17, 2024, Crystal Larae Gallegos Peer-Rochell, a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away at the age of 42. She was born in Ogden, Utah on June 30, 1982. She was the second born child of three.

She married Scott Rochell, whom she later divorced. She had two amazing sons, Levi and Konner Rochell; and her nephew, Donivin Medina, who she treated as her own. Her boys were the light of her life, heart, and her entire world. Deb Rich and her best friend, Elaina Ferland, Carma and Kathy Rochell and their families were all loved and cherished by Crystal.

She loved hunting and camping with her family and friends, but most of all her sons. She loved driving her razor in the mountains with her boys. She enjoyed playing softball every chance she got, and she loved her teammates and everyone she met on and off the field. She was known as Enforcer jersey number 15. She was always excited to help work on vehicles with her brother Bradley and nephew Tayton.

Crystal was loved by so many. She had the most beautiful smile and a great personality. She was so beautiful inside and out. She will be missed by so many but most of all her family and close friends.

Crystal went to Ben Lomond High School until the 11th grade. She has worked since she was 16 years old. She started her career in fast food, worked for Maverick, and later got a job working for Parsons where she ran the scale house. She was determined to operate the front loader at the gravel pit and succeeded quickly. She was every driver’s favorite Loader operator for years. She was so happy and loved her job.

Crystal is survived by her two sons, Levi and Konner Rochell; her father, Brad Peer; mother, Georgia Gallegos; sister, April Peer (Bryan); brother, Bradley Peer (Sarah); uncles and aunts: Zackary Gallegos, Kevin and Debbie Peer, Brett Peer, Yvette Gallegos (Mark), Kristie Peer (Rick); grandfather, Jim Peer; grandmother, Maria Gallegos (Felipe); nephews: Donivin Medina, Lee Duong Jr., Tayton, Traigen, and Kedryke Peer; nieces, Tiarah Peer and Lilah Colvin Peer; great nephews: Xayden and Mason Duong and Santiago Medina. She has many cousins that she loved: Alisha, Marissa, Tia, Sabrina, Bella, Hugo Gallegos-Lopez, Chantell (Enrique), Keisha, Selena, Tara (Benny), Latosha, and Rico.

Crystal was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joe M Gallegos, LaRae Peer, Mike and Mary Garcia; her aunt, Laura Garcia; and her cousin, Gavino Gallegos-Lopez (whom everyone thought were sister and brother, twins).
