Damien Alan Durand,18,died Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 after losing a hard fought battle with addiction.
Damien, known to many as "D," was born March 4th 1997. He was living in Layton, UT. and attending the Davis adult education program. He was one credit shy of graduating. We can proudly say that Damien made a lasting impression on everyone he met with his charm, which was only surpassed by the size of his heart. His energy, mischief, kindness and zest for life are what his family and friends will miss most.
Damien will forever be loved by those of us he left behind. He is survived by his mother Kimberly Vaughn, and father Paul Durand, as well as his brothers Tristan, Jonah and Ryker. He will also be missed by his grandparents aunts uncles and cousins and by the many friends he touched that we now consider family. We will all miss the joy and love that he brought into our lives, and we couldn't be more proud of the effort he gave fighting his demons.
