Daniel K. Rhodes
March 5, 1952 – January 15, 2020
Daniel Kevin Rhodes, was born March 5th, 1952, in Knoxville, Iowa, to John L. Rhodes and Marilyn Craft (later divorced). He passed away peacefully in his sleep from natural causes, Jan 15th, 2020, at the Pioneer Care Center after an extended illness.
He was preceded in death by his father John L. Rhodes, step-mother Georgia, sisters Leslie Kay Bunton, Susan Musgrove, and nephew William Rhodes.
Daniel is survived by mother Marilyn Everson, brother Mike, (Kat) Rhodes, sisters Rebecca (Carlos Leyva) Rhodes, Rosemary (Pete) Cronkright, half-brother Steven Everson, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Daniel served 8 years in the Army and retired from HAFB after 25 years of civil service. He then worked at WSU driving shuttle buses until his health began to fail.
Daniel loved a good road trip and was passionate about his flashy red Monte Carlo. He enjoyed the outdoors riding motorcycles to Sturgis, Piute trail rides on ATV’s, camping, body work, mechanics, stereo electronics and bowling.
Military services will be held later this summer at Camp Williams.
Condolences may be left on the tribute wall for Daniel’s family.
Danny’s truly pure spirit could be measured in how he treated others.
