Darrell Laurens Checketts

Darrell Laurens Checketts, 71, died Tuesday, January 4 at home.
He was born September 26, 1950, in Ogden, a son of Howard W. and Edna Groen Checketts.
He lived in Ogden all his life and graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1968. He attended Weber State College and studied general education.
He was employed with Varsity Custodial. He was an Elder in the LDS Church and held many callings. He loved the New York Yankees. He had a love for all animals and will be so excited to be reunited with his beloved pets Foxy and Rocky.
Surviving are his brother H. Blaine (Julie) Checketts, of Brigham City, and sister, Sandra (Harry) Malan, of Plain City. He was a fun-loving uncle and great uncle and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by both his parents and brother, Melvin W. Checketts.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11 AM in the Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, UT where friends may call Monday prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
