David Raichart, 77, passed on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at his home in Ogden, Utah. David was born July 22, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to Lyle and Dorothy Raichart.
David married Donna Clark on October 10, 1955 in Denver, Colorado.
Dave and Donna started their family in Colorado and moved to Ogden, Utah in October 1964.
Dave worked for the federal government for 18 years before becoming the owner/operator of Service Master for 17 years. He continued working as a self-employed handyman until 2008.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna Raichart; his chidren: Venise and Clifford Mee of Oregon, Orin Raichart of New Mexico, Stephen and Kelli Raichart of Oregon, Esther and Mike Dolphin of Wisconsin, Cheryl Raichart of Colorado; grandchildren: James Raichart and Kelly Jo Raichart of Colorado, Jordan Wright of Oklahoma, Laurie Castonguay of Wisconsin, Melissa Erp of Oregon, Anastasya Raichart and Cade Raichart of Oregon, Tobias Easling of Utah, Dylan Potter of Wisconsin; and eight great-grandchildren.
David is preceded in death by sons, Gene Raichart and Geoffery Raichart.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10 am at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
